so D-day is finally over, D-Day being the day which i conducted a workshop for a jc with regards to volunteering. a bit messy, but overall okay i guess.

anyway our 6th mth anni celebrations:

pre dinner. aka stoning at burger king.

waiting for dinner to come. got bored. can you tell? :P

*hearts* he actually gave it to me at starbucks (where we went to after dinner. lol it was a very sedentary date cuz i was exhausted. but what do you expect after i had a 7:30am meeting? hah). was too bowled over to take photos at that time. anyway so here.

posting time! :) ah, just heard from more ot people...seems like most of the class of 05 is going into hospitals...infact havnt heard of anymore NOT in the hospital setting. the shortage i guess? in a way im a bit envious. i want to work in hospital too! am a bit lacking in confidence to whether i actually can get a hospital job when i come back. oh well. we will see.

so, photos from last week wednesday. i went to sentosa!


and it rained. :( sentosa doesnt like me.


then the next day (thursday), i was prepping for my boy's birthday.

and im really proud of all the wrapping i did! mainly because most of the time wrapping done by me does not quite work out. but hah, hows this! :P

and yes, i do realise that forever friends and little clowns are not very manly, but hey, thats all the wrapping paper i had. haha. note to self, time to buy more gender neutral wrapping paper. its hard to do that when you're fatally attracted to cute things though. heh.

so we went to sakura to eat, mostly cuz i wanted to. i know, im terrible. its as though its MY birthday like that. heh. it was fun, but we came to the conclusion that im a pig in theory; i love the idea and concept of buffets, but i dont eat enough to actually make it worth it. which is sad.

anyway he dressed up, which just lead to me going into throes of self-consiousness....i dont think i ever meet his level of dressed-upness. bah. am working hard on developing a better fashion sense.

not bad huh? :)

after the meal we wandered around, and eventually got around to watching be kind, rewind. highly recommended! its a real tribute to imagination and the human spirit. not to mention, extremely funny remake of ghostbusters for the win! :P

i am realy in love with upcoming kung fu panda though. as you can see. :)
all in all, it was a really good day. i hope you enjoyed it too dear! :)

oh's this for an arty pic? hahah its actually just an accident in focusing. but anyway. speaking of accident in focusing, you'll be forgiven in thinking that i spent the whole day with the boy. but i didnt. honest. went to pelangi for work skills programme, met him for lunch, then met the babe for tea/errand running in newton, then met him again to collect my wallet. but for some reason when i uploaded pics it turned out to be mostly...him. heh. :P and i dont have time to upload a frsh batch. so er, babe ur pics will be uploaded! i promise! and no, its not zhong se qing you. :P dont try to guilt trip me.

this is the signboard of the SMRT recreational club. can tell right. :P anyway. story of the wallet. on fri i left my wallet behind in the cab at night...to be more exact it was a coin pouch containing my ezlink card, atm cards, house keys and his student card. this is a crucial point in the story. 2 days later he got a call from a cab driver saying they would his wallet. moral of the story? student cards are really really good in wallet identification! moral #2, there are still good people in singapore. moral #3, i really am damn blessed (as pointed out by steph)

im not too sure what to do with my workload, actally. with more discipline its managable, on the condition i not have anything resembling a life. and as i really want to spend more time with my nearest and dearest...............

anyway. to cheer myself up, im gonna do a "5 things that make me happy" list! good way to count your blessings, says i.

1. chocolate. more specifically, dark chocolate. mmmm. endorphin boosts always make my world go round.

2. pretty stationery. pens, stickers, chops/stamps, embossers...other girls melt at the sight of soft toys, pretty pretty pens make my knees go wobbly.

3.people. OT-ies, squids, my babes, family. what will i do without you all. okay for the OTs, definately live a happier life. :P

4. blue skies. rainy weather (yes, the two are mutually exclusive. its not my fault i like extremes). and kittens. and yes, the last has nothing to do with the first two but i wanted to save the last spot for.......

5. *hug* its hard to express how i feel in words. your care and concern. the silly faces you make. the way u try to make me happy even though youre busy. i love you so, dearest.

haha i really am feeling more perky. nothing like a good dose of gratitude to wake you up. :)

im getting old. :( i constantly have no energy to post, which is why there was a bit of radio silence. after talking to melissa today though (me: i havnt been posing, have i. her: YES), i feel the pressure and here i am again.

quick one though. i am seriously burned out. which is really silly of me considering i should get as much r&r as i can before i start school again.

funnily after i stop school, i start waking up really early. haha i am a morning person by accident.

not that i mind... being able to wake up early means being able to give other people morning calls! there is nothing i like better than calling people aat 7 in the morning. serious! it always goes somewhat like this:

so anyway. was up and taking bus to town by 8am, as you can see by my watch.

took the bus with this lovely lady, who was extremely pleased to see that she would be reaching school EARLY. look at her excitement.

granted its a bit scary. no one should look that excited going to school.

after sending her off to take her midterm paper i drop by someone's locker and unload things i bought/brought.

and then its sit-down-and-sort-through-my-organiser time! :) its fun. i love my organiser.

quick walk then to the social sci school in smu. pretty tree!

and its 10am and time for my meeting with my pelangi-partner-in-crime! as you can see i tend to colonise space with my numerous things. melissa believes in being minimalist. :)

looking...hungry, i think. someone was planning lunch while we were discussing our work skills programme! tsk tsk. haha.


At 12, Melissa went to have lunch with abi while i coincidentally reunited with the babe!
